The environment is a complex web of form and pattern. To understand what nature is telling us, we need to listen to the stories of knowledge keepers and elders who know the lands and waters. Staff have leading edge tools to observe and measure nature, but more importantly we are curious about it. Our technicians are always learning about how marine, freshwater and land organisms interact within Penelakut Territory. We practice two-eyed seeing, viewing the world through both an Indigenous and western science lens.
