Penelakut Boat Ramp closure August 27th

As you might have already noticed, the new construction is underway.
The construction company has a barge scheduled on Tuesday, August 27th, 2024 set to arrive at 3 am.
The crew will start to offload starting around 9 AM with the tide. Trucks will be busy for approximately 8 or 9 hours. During this period of time, The boat ramp beside the ferry will not be accessible. Please do not park near the boat ramp on Tuesday, August 26th overnight or August 27th.
For your safety, we have arranged to have flaggers to direct traffic. The trucks will pause briefly to accommodate ferry traffic when the ferry lands throughout the day.
We are very sorry if this causes any inconvenience.
