Kura Jack Community Health Nurse
July 03, 2025Hello everyone,
I am very happy to be home on Penelakut Island and happier to introduce myself as your Community Health Nurse. My name is Kura Jack. My role focuses on health promotion and prevention. Including immunizations, maternal child health, community programs.
For the last few years I have been living in Fort McPherson, N.T. While there I was working as a Community Wellness Coordinator. More recently, I was living and working in Smithers, B.C. as a Public Health Nurse. I began my nursing career at Seabird Island Band as a Maternal Child Health Nurse. These are some experiences that will support me, but ultimately, I will be looking to the community for guidance.
I am very grateful for the opportunity to give back to the community. Feel free to drop by and say Hi!
