Covid Notice

Penelakut Tribe is issuing a stay-at-home order for the health and safety of our community. EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY! The stay-at-home order is in place due to a confirmed positive case of Covid-19 within our Penelakut Island community. The community member is currently isolating in our designated quarantine station to help stop the spread.
All residents must stay home for the next 2 weeks. Residents may leave their home for essentials only, such as; groceries, medical appointments or employment outside of Penelakut. Please designate one person from your household to gather your essential needs. During this time the Band Office and the Health Center will be closed so that staff can follow the stay-at-home order. Essential staff will be available when needed to ensure the health and safety of our communities.
We will provide updates as we receive information. Please stay home to protect our communities, we will get through these difficult times together.
